Smell gas?
Call the National Gas Emergency line immediately on 0800 111 999. Don't use switches or open flames — get to safety first.
Power cut or electrical fault?
Before calling us, check the UK Power Networks power cut map for known issues in your area, and ask a neighbour whether they're affected too. If it's a wider network fault, UK Power Networks will already be on it — call them free on 105.
Uncontainable water leak?
Turn off the stopcock, then call our out-of-hours line on 01733 252525 and choose the option to speak to the on-call team.
